For those of you who don’t know me; Hi! I’m Cecilia. Obviously I started this blog so that I can document my adventures along the way to mommyhood and married life. But, here is a little background information to catch you up a little bit!
- I am 20 years old living in a rather boring town in Kansas.
- I am engaged to the love of my life (Alex, who you will obviously get to learn a lot about). We got engaged this past Christmas and our wedding is set for August 15, 2015.
- So, I jumped the gun a little bit. We are not 100% sure that we’re pregnant.. My period is 2 weeks late and (although we haven’t had a positive pregnancy test yet) all of the signs are there. The nauseous feeling, always being tired, crankiness, stomach pains, bloating, gas (oh lord the gas), boob growth and soreness, and acne. We are going to the doctor’s on Thursday, so fingers crossed and keep an eye out for an update!
I feel that I should also say, yes we are young. We are both well aware of that. BUT, you must understand that Alex and I spend a lot of time planning things out and making sure that things will work before we jump right into something. A baby is a big responsibility, but one of God’s little treasures. Marriage isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it to be with the one you love forever. Alex and I are young, in love, and happily moving forward with whatever life throws at us. Together.
Our journey won’t be easy and our path won’t be straight. But with pockets full of hope and a family full of love, we will press on. ♥
